What does paint correction actually involve, and why does it matter before coating?+−
Paint correction removes surface defects — swirl marks, water spots, light scratches, oxidation. If you apply ceramic over uncorrected paint, you're sealing those defects in permanently. Every ceramic coating job at Deluxe Detailing includes a full correction pass before the coating goes on. No exceptions.
How long does the 5-year ceramic coating actually last?+−
Sun Coat ceramic is rated for 5 years with proper care. Hand washing, no automated brush car washes, and an occasional maintenance detail. Follow those basics and the protection holds up.
What's the difference between the Mountain Protection Package and the Deep Steam Detail?+−
The Deep Steam Detail is interior-focused — full steam extraction on every surface. The Mountain Protection Package adds exterior ceramic sealant and windshield coating on top of the interior work. If you want inside and outside handled in one visit, go with the Mountain Protection Package.
Do you do mobile detailing or come to my location?+−
No. Deluxe Detailing is in-studio only. Ceramic coating and detailing both require a controlled, dust-free environment to be done right. Mobile is one of the most common reasons coatings fail — we don't offer it.
I drive a truck or SUV. Does pricing change for larger vehicles?+−
Pricing is consistent across vehicle sizes for these packages. If you're driving a full-size pickup or large SUV — which is most of Eagle County — the process and the protection are exactly the same.
How long does an appointment take?+−
Depending on the package and vehicle condition, most appointments run 3 to 6 hours. Ceramic coating jobs may require leaving the vehicle overnight. Daniel's team gives you a time estimate when you book.
